DPIT
Points & Rewards Terms
1. About the programme
The DPIT Rewards Programme thanks customers who shop with DPIT. You earn DPIT Points on eligible purchases, and can use them to pay at checkout or exchange them for vouchers and other member benefits.
By taking part in the programme, you agree to these terms.
2. Earning points
You earn 1 point for every RM1 you spend.
Points are calculated on the final eligible amount you pay: after your member discount, any voucher, and any points you use.
Example
- Items: RM200
- Voucher: RM20 off
- Amount for points: RM180
- Points earned: 180
Delivery charges, taxes and other non-eligible fees, where they apply, do not earn points. DPIT may decide whether particular products, promotions or transactions earn points.
3. Membership tiers
Your tier is based on the points you have earned on paid orders:
| Tier | Points earned | Member discount |
|---|---|---|
| Member | 0 | 0% |
| Silver | 1,000 | 5% |
| Gold | 2,000 | 7% |
| Platinum | 3,000 | 10% |
Your member discount is taken off your order at checkout, before any voucher. Redeeming or using points never lowers your tier; points taken back after a refund no longer count towards it.
4. Refunds and cancelled orders
If an order is refunded in full or in part, the points it earned are deducted from your balance in proportion to the amount refunded.
Example: you buy RM200 of items and earn 200 points. You later receive a full refund, so the 200 points are deducted. For a partial refund, only the points for the refunded amount are deducted.
If a deduction takes your balance below zero, the difference is taken from the points you earn next.
5. Using points at checkout
You can use points to pay for part or all of an order: 10 points = RM1 off. Points can be used together with a voucher on the same order.
Example
- Items: RM200
- Voucher: RM20 off
- Points used: 50 points (RM5)
- Amount paid: RM175
- Points earned: 175
Points used to pay are not counted again as spending.
If an order you paid for with points is refunded, the points you used are returned to your account (for a partial refund, in proportion to the refund) and keep their original expiry date. Points that are already past their expiry date when the refund is made are not returned, unless DPIT decides otherwise.
6. DPIT vouchers
DPIT may issue vouchers through the rewards programme, promotions, special events or other eligible activities. A voucher's value, minimum spend, eligible products, conditions of use and validity may differ, so please check its terms before using it. One voucher can be used per order.
7. Voucher validity
Unless a voucher says otherwise, DPIT vouchers are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.
Example: issued on 1 September 2026, the voucher expires on 1 October 2026.
Expired vouchers cannot be extended, exchanged for cash or reissued. Special promotions may offer vouchers with a different validity.
8. Vouchers and refunds
If an order on which you used a voucher is fully refunded, a voucher you redeemed with your points is returned to your account, with its original expiry date. Promotional vouchers are generally not returned. DPIT may handle special cases at its discretion.
9. Points expiry
DPIT Points are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned. Your oldest points are always used first.
Example: points earned on 29 September 2026 expire on 29 September 2027.
Expired points cannot be restored. Your DPIT account shows your balance and when your next points expire.
10. How refunds are calculated
When an order was paid with a mix of card, points and a voucher:
- The card payment is refunded according to the approved refund amount.
- Points used are returned under the rules in section 5.
- A voucher redeemed with points is returned when the order is fully refunded (section 8).
- Points earned on the order are deducted (section 4).
11. Returns and exchanges
Points earned on items that are returned or refunded are adjusted accordingly. For an exchange, DPIT may recalculate points on the final transaction amount. If the replacement item costs more, you pay the difference; if it costs less, the difference is handled under DPIT's exchange policy at the time.
12. Points cannot be transferred
DPIT Points cannot be transferred to another customer's account, exchanged for cash, sold, given to another person or withdrawn as cash. Points can only be used under the rules of the DPIT Rewards Programme.
13. Fraud, misuse and breaches
DPIT may suspend, cancel or adjust points or vouchers in cases of:
- fraudulent transactions
- misuse of promotions
- creating multiple accounts to obtain rewards
- unauthorised use of points or vouchers
- manipulating the rewards system
- any breach of DPIT's terms and conditions
14. Changes to the programme
DPIT may change, suspend or end all or part of the Rewards Programme at any time, including the points earning rate, voucher values, validity periods, eligible products, redemption rules and member benefits. DPIT will notify customers of significant changes where appropriate.
15. Final terms
By taking part in the DPIT Rewards Programme, you agree to these terms. DPIT's decision on points, vouchers, refunds, redemptions and programme eligibility is final. If you have any questions about your points or vouchers, please contact DPIT customer service.
